Michael Gannon is a British photographer working internationally across editorial, commercial, and personal projects. He is currently based in Porto, Portugal, where he lives with his wife, Mariana, and their son, Sebastian. Known for his calm, observational style, Michael’s work explores themes of place, memory, and connection often through careful attention to light, form, and atmosphere. In 2019, he photographed the cover of Vogue Latin America’s 20th-anniversary edition. In March 2025, Ark Journal published his portrait feature of Álvaro Siza, photographed at the architect’s Porto office a rare chance to document one of Portugal’s most revered figures in his working environment.
